I am a retired medical doctor who now works as a clinical scientist at the UCL Institute of Child Health, London UK. As an amateur photographer I enjoy looking for the unseen beauty of our world. Urban landscapes create environments that at times are quite alienating. However observing the interaction between the different man-made constructions gives a fascinating view of one's surroundings and reveals an unseen beauty.
When walking through rural settings, the ordinary can sometimes take on a new meaning and reveal a beauty that many simply walk past. Hopefully some of the images on this website may cause you to observe with a different eye, be that in the city/town or in the countryside.
